Activate your senses!

A set of tactile silicone bands that everyone can enjoy while using spices. They are carefully designed with the blind in mind!

Sense of Touch

How awesome would it be if you didn't have to visually confuse thyme with mint or salt with sugar?

Wouldn't you prefer to simply feel the spice without actually having to dip your finger into it?

What about not having to search for a spice at dark and cramped cabinets?

Feelsy Bands let you feel the spice when you are unable or incapable to see what spice you are about to add to your food.

Share the Feel

We developed the Feelsy Bands to create a common language where everyone can share the feel and feel the difference.

Unique symbols

Our custom-made silicone bands feature a unique symbol for each spice. It’s very easy to learn and easy to use! Since

Braille signs

Since its origination, Braille has been the major source of communication for the visually impaired. Braille helped us to get inspired when designing the Feelsy Bands.

Universal design

How do you determine that an object or system is universally designed?

Does it mean that everyone, but literally everyone, should be able use it?

We think it does!

Today, although many products are designed with this concept in mind, still most of them are inaccessible to a significant amount of people. There are many ways to create awareness in this matter. Feelsy Bands are a simple but effective gateway to lives of visually impaired individuals.

Jill Gross

TEST USER

"...People who can see often rely on just using visual input to do things. We have so many other senses that we can use to take in information about the world around us. In terms of these products, I think that the more senses that a person utilizes when they are cooking, the more multitasking you can do. And you can do things more quickly and more fluidly..."

CHEF

“...At first, I thought I wouldn't really need these bands, but after a while once I got familiar with the symbols, it actually helped me to act more quickly as I could detect the spice even without looking at it. Now I enjoy cooking with the Feelsy bands. They add extra texture and color to spice jars and just make the cooking experience more fun!”
